How do I care for my candle?
Allow candle to burn 2 to 3 hours to create a “melt pool” when burning for the first time, so wax pool reaches the jar edge each time to prevent wax tunneling. This process ensures a clean and even burn all the way down.
Always trim your wick to 1/4" before candle is lit each time to avoid any soot
You can simply pinch off any split portion of the wooden wick between your fingers or you can use a wick trimmer
Burn candle no more than 4 hours at a time
Keep candle away from fans, open windows, hot surfaces, children, pets
Never leave a burning candle unattended
Do not place your burning candle on sensitive or uneven surfaces
Why won’t my candle stay lit?
Wax builds up on the wooden wick during production. You may need to light your wick a few times to help burn off the buildup of wax. The best technique is to tilt the wooden wick on an angel and let the flame draw across the length of the wick.
Use caution when candle is burning.
Don’t place your burning candle on sensitive or uneven surfaces.
Why wooden wicks?
Wooden wicks burn cleaner, provide a better scent throw, they burn longer (which makes your candle last longer) and they have a wonderful crackling sound!
Where are the ingredients sourced?
We take pride in using USA made products! We use FSC certified wooden wicks. Soy waxes that are gluten, phthalate and lead free. Premium fragrances made with essential oils. US made vessels that are refillable, reusable and recyclable.
My items arrived damaged, what should I do?
Please email us at bridgettemarcelyn@gmail.com, provide your order number, pictures of the damaged product and packaging with the shipping label number within 10 days of receiving. Any submissions after 10 days will not be accepted.
What is your return and exchange policy?
Due the nature of our products, all sales are final.
How and when do you ship orders?
All items are shipped with USPS or FedEX. Once we ship your package the tracking information is out of our control and the final delivery is out of our hands. We are unable to replace delivered orders that are missing or stolen. Please ensure you are picking the best shipping address and option at checkout to ensure your order arrives safely.
When are candles ready to ship?
Candles will be processed and ready to ship within 1-3 business days.
What are the handling and shipping fees?
Local pick up in the following cities includes: Grand Haven, Muskegon, Norton Shores, Holland and Zeeland, are free and all standard shipping is $10 flat rate.
How many hours will my candle burn for?
An estimate for a 4 ounce travel tin candle can have a burn time of 12 hours. Approximate burn time for the 11ounce lotus jar is 60 hours. For the large ceramic 13 ounce jar it can burn up to 75 hours.
What do I do with my candle vessels after it is empty?
When the last bit of wax is still warm, you can take a piece of paper towel and wipe the vessel until all the wax is removed. You can remove the wick clip by simply pulling. Once the wick clip and wax are removed, you can gently hand wash with warm soapy water. Our jars a designed to be reused!
Why do my wicks all look different?
Due to the nature of the wicks, each wick will vary in thickness, height and color.
Why is the travel tin get so hot?
Since the material is metal, the travel tin will get hot quickly. Be sure to not place on sensitive or uneven surfaces. It may melt or cause damage to sensitive surfaces.
What is the shelf life of my candle?
A shelf life of a candle is typically 12 to 16 months from the date of purchase.
